November 27-28, 2025 Prof. Dr. Farhat Naz from IIT Jodhpur visits Heidelberg University

Prof. Dr. Farhat Naz is an Associate Professor of Sociology at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur (IITJ), India. She is a development sociologist by academic training and her present research is focused on sustainability, policy and governance. Prof. Naz is a DAAD and Endeavour Fellow and DAAD Research Ambassador for South Asia (2025–2028).

Prof. Naz is visiting Heidelberg University so as to explore opportunities for research cooperation and academic collaborations with Departments of Geography and Political Science, and HeiGIT. Her visit is being coordinated by HCSA.
