Delegation visits: Germany to IndiaIndia visit of the delegation from IWR, Ziti, Computer Science and Chemistry faculties

Prof. Peter Bastian, Prof. Robert Strzodka, Prof. Jakob Zech, Prof. Oriol Vendrell and Prof. Artur Andrzejak visited Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in March 2023 to attend the Indo-German conference on Computational Mathematics: Challenges and Opportunities towards scientific computing and machine learning (IGCM). The purpose of this Indo-German conference is to provide an interdisciplinary platform for researchers to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and the challenges in the frontier areas of computational mathematics. IGCM aims to foster interactions among the Scientific Computing and Machine Learning research communities and to provide a platform to present and discuss challenges and opportunities in combining process and data-driven modelling. The visit resulted in increased interest of the scientists from Germany in India and South Asia, delegation visits to India and South Asia in year 2024/2025 to initiate cooperation talks.
