Delegation visits: Germany to IndiaProf. Anja Senz’s scientific research visit to North East India

Prof. Dr. Anja Senz, professor for Contemporary China at the Centre for Asian and Transcultural Studies visits several institutions in the North East India, such as the Royal University of Assam, Gauhati University, the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Guwahati and Manipur University to research on aspects such as economic development, infrastructure development, climate and environmental issues and state capacity. During her visit she attended scientific meetings and talks, gave talks, had research oriented discussions and explored opportunities to setup joint projects and exchanges. The outcomes of the visit include an Indo-German-Bangladesh workshop in 2024/2025, exploring cooperations with Bangladesh universities and also setting up DAAD Guest Professor Programme.
