7th -12th April 2024 Chemistry Delegation visits India: led by the vice Rektor, Research and Digitalisation, Prof. Andreas Dreuw
Pro Rektor, Research and Digitalisation, Prof. Dr. Andreas Dreuw led a four-professor delegation from Faculty of Chemistry to India on an exploratory visit for discussions on cooperations with institutes of eminence in Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram and Mumbai viz. IIT Hyderabad, University of Hyderabad, TIFR Hyderabad, IISER Trivandrum and IIT Bombay.
During the visit the delegation members, Prof. Dreuw, Prof. Vendrell, Prof. Greb and Prof. Comba delivered Public Lectures, had scientific discussions and student interactions. In each city, Indo-German Panel Discussions and scientific lectures were organised that catered to large groups of scientists, students and industry representatives. During the visit Ph.D student selections were undertaken and exchange opportunities for students and faculty were discussed. The visit resulted in Indo-German collaborations and Ph.D students uptake.
