November 11 - February 12, 2025 Dr. Sivakumar Namadurai from IISER Thiruvananthapuram visits the Schiebel Lab at Heidelberg University

Dr. Sivakumar Namadurai is a Research Associate in Prof. Tapas Manna’s lab at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Thiruvananthapuram, India. His research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying Procentriole initiation in human cells during the cell cycle.

Dr. Namadurai is visiting the Schiebel Lab at the Center for Molecular Biology (ZMBH), Heidelberg University, Germany, for a period of three months as part of an ongoing Indo-German collaborative research project. During his visit, he will conduct experiments using advanced techniques including Cryo-Electron Tomography, Single Particle Analysis Cryo-EM (SPA-CryoEM), and Cross-linking Mass Spectrometry.
