24th October 2024 Indo-German Symposium on Sustainability, Mumbai

Led by the Jurist and Pro Rektor International Relations, Prof. Dr. Weller and Rektor of Mumbai University, an Indo-German Panel Discussion on Sustainability was organised in Mumbai in cooperation with Mumbai University. The well received event had over 200 participants from Law colleges and Law Firms from across Mumbai. The event delved on the pertinent topic of climate change. The speakers from IPR Institute, Heidelberg University, Law Department Mumbai University and the Practitioners from Law Firms presented European and Indian perspectives on the subject and expressed opinions on sustainability as a multifaceted issue, demanding socio-economic improvements as well climate mitigation and the ensuing tangle of soft law, human rights and new national, international and supranational laws has become a challenge for courts, scholars and regulators alike. The event was followed scientific networking and intense discussions on Indo-German collaborations.
