The module included crucial topics such as the identification of outbreak sources, the collection and analysis of data, the implementation of control strategies, and the communication of public health risks. The course also highlighted the significance of cross-disciplinary cooperation and the ethical dimensions in managing outbreak responses. Upon completion, the participants acquired essential capabilities for the effective investigation and resolution of public health outbreaks, thus advancing their professional growth and contributing to the improvement of global health security. The future goal of the programme was to internationalise MPH curriculum. The Project Leads from the partner institutions Dr. Sitanshu Sekhar Kar (JIPMER) and Dr Pauline Grys (HIGH), were present throughout the proceedings.
