February 16 – 21, 2025 Prof. Till Baernighausen visits India

Prof. Dr. Till Bärnighausen, Alexander von Humboldt University Professor and Director of the Heidelberg Institute of Global Health at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Heidelberg visited India. The exploratory three city scientific visit to insitutions of eminence and national importance in Bengaluru (IISc, NIMHANS, IPH), Hyderabad (University of Hyderabad, IIPH-H)and Mumbai (TISS, IIPS). The purpose of the visit was to: 

• To understand state-of-the-art in Global Health in India
• To see the infrastructure, hold scientific discussions and meet students
• To explore opportunities to collaborate and for exchanges 

The visit helped build new connections, identify cooperation partners, accept Associate Editors and initiate scientific exchanges.
