October 2025 - September 2026 Visit of Dr. Tanu Sharma to CaRLa (BASF and University of Heidelberg) Industry on Campus

Catalysis Research Laboratory (CaRLa) is a specific model of a public private partnership, in which the two partners, BASF and University of Heidelberg within its broader initiative “Industry on Campus”, work closely together in a joint laboratory.

Dr. Tanu Sharma, Postdoctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay visited the Catalysis Research Laboratory (CaRLa) as the Indo-German Science and Technology Centre  (IGSTC) Industrial Fellowship 2025 (Post-Doctoral Industrial Fellowship).  

During her stay, she worked under the mentorship of Dr. Jean-Pierre Lindner (BASF) on the project titled “Employing AI/ML for the sustainable production of bio-based chemicals by catalytic processes.” The visit strengthened Indo-German collaboration in advancing innovation in green and sustainable chemistry, aligning with IGSTC’s mission to promote research with societal and industrial impact.
