NewsSantiago Ospina De Los Ríos visits India as research scholar

The purpose of visit of research scholar Santiago Ospina De Los Ríos to the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore and Indian Institute of Science Education and Research in Thiruvananthapuram is two-fold. The first aim is to exchange ideas with Indian partners about hardware-aware approaches for assembly and solution of the finite element method. In particular, Santiago is interested in multiphysics modelling and hybrid parallel algorithms for high-performance computing. The second goal is to establish long-lasting collaboration on common interests and expertise. The reseach stay is funded by the Indo-German partnerships (IGP) program from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and this is a good opportunity for the young scholar to expand his horizon in terms of knowledge and research opportunities.
