January 14-18, 2026 Prof. Joacim Rocklöv visits Sri Lanka

Prof. Joacim Rocklöv visited Sri Lanka on 18 January 2026 to initiate new collaborative projects on leptospirosis and dengue, working with local communities, veterinary experts, entomologists, and the Ministry of Health in Sri Lanka. During his visit, he attended the inauguration ceremony of SHRI (Sri Lankan Health Research and Innovation), which focused on planetary health and he met with the Mathematics Department and the National Science Foundation in Sri Lanka. His visit initiated collaboration and follow-up activities with Sri Lanka.
