1st March 2024 Indo-German Symposium: Simulations of Physical and Biological Systems

The School of Computational & Integrative Sciences at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), in cooperation with Heidelberg University India Office organised the Indo-German symposium, titled, “Simulations of Physical and Biological Systems”. 

The symposium attracted over 150 students, scientists, and faculty members from various institutes to explore the forefront of simulating physical and biological systems. The objective was to create a dynamic platform for intellectual exchange, fostering interdisciplinary collaborations, and delving into innovative methodologies in simulation research. 

The symposium agenda featured six invited lectures by leading experts in the field, complemented by a series of engaging student talks. The panel of experts included, Prof. Rebecca Wade from Heidelberg University who gave the Keynote.

The symposium was an extremely successful event, where a large number of students and faculty members engaged with the speakers. The vent created visibility and reach for Heidelberg University.
