February 25 – March 1 2024 Incubators Connect 2.0: Innovation and Internationalisation
DWIH New Delhi organised a programme on Innovation and Internationalisation in India. The programme aimed at directors and managers of incubators from India and Germany to discuss internationalization of incubators. As a part of the programme two workshops were organised, 27 February 2024 in New Delhi and 29 February 2024 in Bengaluru. The workshops offered an opportunity for incubators from India to connect with 20+ incubators and transfer centres from Germany.
During the workshop discussions and brainstorming on concrete ideas and inputs on incubation and innovation programs between the incubators were facilitated. The workshops were followed by networking sessions with the start-up ecosystem in New Delhi and Bengaluru.
Within the delegation was also discussed the implementation of an Indo-German Entrepreneurship Center. This center should act as a landing port for both sides, connecting the dots and being the first point of contact. It is an idea to strengthen the startup factory application, prepared together with KIT and Stuttgart at the moment, by moving together with the DWIH towards such a center. The DWIH has prospects for funding, that might become available to Heidelberg University as well.
Dr. Raoul Haschke, Head Hei-Innovation and Dr. Bakht, Director HCSA represented Heidelberg University in the event.
